Hydrotex specifications, the general Hydrotex brochure, and the Hydrotex slide show are available for download directly from this web site. Just click on the required item to begin the download.

The specifications and brochure will be downloaded to your computer as Adobe® Acrobat® documents (.pdf file extension).

The slide show will be downloaded in Power Point '97 format for PC's (which is also Power Point '98 for Macs).		 Acrobat will allow you to read, annote, and print out the specification(s) of your choice on standard 8.5 by 11 paper, regardless of the computer you're using. All you need is the Acrobat 3.0 (or later) Reader, which is automatically loaded with most browsers. If you're already familiar with Acrobat, simply click on the specification you'd like. If not, read the Acrobat Instructions.

You will need Power Point 97 or later to show the slide show. If you do not have it, Microsoft has a free PowerPoint Viewer available on their web site.

Acrobat Instructions

The only component of Acrobat you need is the Acrobat Reader. It is probably already on your computer, but, if it is not, it is available, free of charge, from Adobe Systems. Getting the reader takes only a few minutes, and you'll find it useful for reading other documents on the Web, as Acrobat is the most common way of preparing documents for transmission to a variety of platforms. Readers are available for all of the common hardware platforms.

To get the reader, go to the Adobe web site (we've included a hot link below). On their home page is a yellow button you can click on to download the Reader. It's free. All you have to do is fill out the on line registration and select your platform type. Make certain you select the right platform, since each reader runs on only one type of computer. Adobe provides installation instructions with each Reader.

The latest version of the Reader even allows you to view the documents right in the main window of most browsers. You can print out the specification without ever leaving your browser.

If this feature does not work with your browser or you've chosen to turn it off, clicking on the link will result in an immediate download of the specification. None of the specifications should take more than a minute to download.

Important note: If you view the spec in your browser, you may to tell your computer to save it in order to keep a copy of the file on your computer. When you save it, save it as a "source" document, not a "text" document.
